The symptoms of an abscessed tooth are pretty noticeable. Since it’s caused by an infection, you’ll likely have a fever in addition to swollen neck glands. You’ll also experience a continuous pain in your tooth, and more severe pain when chewing.
How is it treated?
Depending on how bad the abscess is, you may need a root canal or to have the tooth completely extracted to get rid of the infection. You’ll also need antibiotics as well.
